Looney's Lax
We had a terrific turnout for the U11 and U13 boy's Looney's
Lacrosse Club inaugural 2008 teams. There were over 80 kids
that participated in a combined tryout of the U11 and U13
teams. The tryouts were great, all the kids showed a lot
of enthusiasm and skill. This is very exciting for the Looney's
Lacrosse Club and we look forward to growing this to over
6 teams in the 2009 season. We are also very excited about
the sponsorship of over 6 girl teams for the 2008 season
with Looney's picking up the sponsorship of Misstix Lacrosse
Club, a well established girls club team in Harford county.
We are currently interested in talking to coaches for the
U15 and U17 boy's teams. Please contact Paul Gray at looneyslax@comcast.net
to discuss.
In the next few weeks we will be holding skills training
for the U11 and U13 boys teams. We will communicate all
information promptly once we finalize the plans. In addition,
we will communicate practice schedule for the teams in the
next few weeks. For the 2008 boy's club season the tournaments
will be as follows.
